Oh, you need the Rizoma billet latte holder.  It's available in all sorts of funky anodised colours, and simply bolts on to the top triple.

sometimes I'd like a version with a hand flipping the bird for the people in cages that suddenly cut you off or pull out in front of you.
or you could have the 'chuck norris extreme prejudice version' that actually takes the offending mirror off said vehicle that is not using it as you pass them!!  [moto] ;D

Nodding to say hello is it, i just thought that all riders suffered from a stigmatism to the neck caused by excess G forces......... [bang]

I confess I'm perplexed by nodding etiquette.  I generally nod, but there seems to be no reliable way to tell if you'll get a return nod.

That's true, and it doesn't matter at all.

I nod because I want to. If they nod back, great! If they nod first, great too! If they don't nod, so what? To me, nodding isn't about converting non-nodders into the nodder camp, it's about _me_ being the kind of guy who nods, and occasionally meeting like minded souls - I also nod to truck drivers, posties (riding or walking), scooter riders, people driving cool cars, and even cops, and I wave to little kids. I couldn't care less if those people even notice me nodding, never mind whether they nod back... It _is_ all about _me_ you know!  ;D

Well having lived in more states (of australia) than not it does seem to vary a lot depending on what state your in.

NSW  - loads of nodders except harley guys that are too tough

QLD - yeah getting there, though there is a lot of bikes

VIC - nope lucky to get even a return nod

WA - yep, but got nothin else to do as there's 100km between corners

SA - Never had a bike there so dunno

TAS - Real friendly, you get twice as many nods  [cheeky]

I like to nod, but I also find myself hitting things when I nod off.  :P

I also do the wave to kiddies thing - it generally seems to be little boys with the parents and I figure waving to them shows that not all bikers are Comanchero's or 1%ers...  [moto]

'when in doubt apply throttle' - it may not save you, but it will end the suspense

You've put your order in then?

I like a drink. You know when people say 'I like a drink as much as the next man'? Not if I'm the next man, you don't.

Is it me, or do the Nods come more freely on weekends?

Not you.

On the very rare occasion I have ridden to work I have been astounded at the lack of acknowledgement from other riders ... even the lone rider you come across on the Old Road - nothing.

I think it is just a sign of how jaded commuters are.

I blame some of it on todays road rage that's out there.

Saw a classic example of it on the way home from work the other day.
"p" plater cager cuts off bike, bike beeps horn, P plater gives the finger to biker, biker pulls up next to P Plater at lights and give her a serve, another biker pulls in behind first biker and starts to wave his arms around at first biker. Lights go green and everybody races off after each other.
( I pulled into get fuel so didn't see the outcome)

dragonworld.

It could also be an indication of the proliferation of "Non" enthusiast riders that are using motorcycles now!?  :(

Riding more for economic reasons than for fun and enjoyment?  ???

So the camaraderie toward other riders just aint there, just the general car drivers attitude of a means to an end of getting from point A to B!  with little or no acknowledgement that the rest of the world exists [roll]
Secret to a long relationship is........Keep the fights clean and the sex DIRTY"!

Hey, that's how most of Adelaide drivers drive over here. Numpties!
