Anyone have ay experience with the dark helmet? I'm wondering if opts worth the coin?  I have a bell apex, and a bell Arrow helmet at the moment, and would like something that is a little lighter and better quality, and I like the looks of this one. Being in Texas venting is important to me, and this helmet looks to fit that bill. Any input appreciated.

It looks like an AGV s4 thats been repainted and re badged. I have one as my everyday helmet.  I like it. You're paying $150 for a ducati sticker.

Airborne is correct.  I have the AGV Stealth with a black visor.  I threw on two yellow reflective 80's Ducati logo stickers on it and I think it looks better.  I've got the same stickers on my bike, so it goes with the theme.  I ordered mine from www.decal-orations.com

I decided to be a biter & copy you - thanks for the info!

I ordered the Matte black Stealth AGV, and then ordered some reflective black & reflective white stickers for it. That was a great idea!

No worries Chris.  having a "customized" helmet for less or a stock Duc one for way more...  We all know what direction most of us would go.  They're a bit slow on the cutting of the stickers, but shipping is fast.  For the helmet I did the smallest size they have, then one or two sizes larger for the tank decals.

Looks good  [thumbsup].. how did you cover up the S-4 logo?

I'm wanting to do the same on my Bell Vortex, but those logos on the side have a coating over them...

Bellagio

I have the AGV Stealth in matte black (it doesn't have the S-4 logo on the side)  If your Ducati stickers match the color of the S-4 logo, just run them underneath that logo.

Apparently the stealth is discontinued and sold out lots of places,  STG's website could have indicated that before I ordered. But, I think it worked out for me, since helmets seem to be sold out or backorered all over my wife gave in and let me order a Bell Star. I think the stickers will look just as good on it, and Bells historically fit me best anyway.

New gear is nice  [bacon]

I also orded the 4" size, I figured it made the most sense given the dimensions of most helmets.

Totally! Still waiting on the damn stickers though  [roll] I emailed them on Friday and got a "we'll email you when it's done" response.  Bastards.

That is a nasty picture.. NICE BIKE

*where is your license plate??
Is this thing on?

Bellagio

Chris, you can try emailing them direct and say that you saw their product and it looks great, but you're dissatisfied with the service, they might upgrade your shiiping or give you a percentage off your next order.

Veloce - thanks for the compliment.  I did a custom tray under the seat and mounted the plate on to the tray behind the tire hugger.  I mounted  the voltage regulator on the tray as well because I did the K&N crankcase breather eliminating a bunch of stuff under the seat.   I threw on a 2 LED fixture to give the plate some illumination at night, but still got stopped for it not being visible enough.  Once the officer got closer to my bike he saw it and let me go though.

Corey - I think I've made some H-D Ultra Classic riders shit themselves when I fired her up beside them at a bike night!
