Don't buy some pos clone. Gun shops are full of used ones. Hell I'll double your money to get what you really want.

The Caniks CZ clones are very good.  They've been making them for 30 years.  Plenty of support for them.

Compact might be the opposite of what he wants if he's gonna have wife using it.

BTW did you mean Bersa?

Yes, Bersa.  They have made decent guns for a while -- not the prettiest.  However, this new one is very interesting and I've only heard good reviews of them.

I know the importer and they are having trouble keeping them in stock.  They sell as fast as they get them.

The BP comes in 380, 9 and 40.  I haven't used one, but I've handled their 9mm Thunder and it was impressive especially given the price.

I would not plan to put 30,000 rounds thru it, but would have no problem carrying one.  They are about the same size as the Kahr P9

Buds has the Bersa for $350.. pretty amazing price imho

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

Bersa is not an option.  :P

Just picked up a Shiloh Sharps 45-70 to give to a client for Christmas. Hand made here in Montana - beautiful fit and finish.  Up to a two year wait list for this rifle (but I know a guy ;)).  This is a slightly upgraded 1874 model - like the one from "Quigley Down Under." I think the rifle in the film was a 45-110 though.  I got to shoot one of these a couple of years ago.  Very fun and nice shooting rifle.  Getting the rear vernier sight and companion front sight this week - hopefully.  Wish I could afford one of these for myself.

Anyone pick up Tulammo 223 recently?   I was in Walmart yesterday and they had it for a good price so I picked up two boxes.  Got it home and the bullets are silver?  Just missing copper wash?

They are coming with a zinc jacket now.  Cheaper, and more nutritious.

Hunting werewolves?
It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

And the sugar fountain fairy swore so hard when she came to super-size that stale hope soybean; liiiike a homeless German woman. Who is this super-sizing spirit-crushing femme? And tell her I'll break a tree root up in her shrimp.

Being faster than you thought possible…it feels good. No, screw thatâ€"it feels like shotgunning a gallon of adrenaline and chasing it with an all-night orgy aboard a burning Viking boat.

I wonder if he'd buy a Mosin at today's prices?

Saw one in Yuma for $129 last month, too much PIA to import into the Republik. :P
