Some small self threading wood screws will work. The screws might still be stuck inside the cushion pad. The rubber pad will close back up when you pull the screwdriver out and will hold the screws hidden in the pad. Take a look. [thumbsup]

Glad you finally got that sucker off. Enjoy your clay shoot.

I've got a 26 and 27 but it's cool that the P250 allows you that flexibilty for less $$$. Where have you been looking for holsters? Some sort of concealed holster I assume? Good luck finding what you want.

Enjoy my awful clay shooting abilities!!!!

I can't find the screws, but I was trying to find some around the house as you mentioned to mount the pad, but don't have any quite long enough with a small enough head to fit inside the rubber pad.

I'll get some from the hardware store in the morning.

I have a question...

Not to demean Mr. Sevigny's talent...but...

how does he do if someone is shooting back?

Just a question mind you.

I like this simulation.  Normal shooters, normal gun......its like amateur gun porn!  Sure the pros are fun to watch.....their perfection gets boring.

Awerbuck has a life size torso and head target set up, sometimes two sometimes three targets, fully clothed in shirts and caps. One or two will be behind the "hostage" and the whole target set up is mounted on a table/stand that allows him to pull on ropes and make it turn and move. It's a hoot! Very life like. He'll sometimes make you work in a two man team and approach from both sides. First shooter with the best shot fires and can't put anything on the hostage. I've done it several times in his shotgun classes. Great drill!

Two vids. First one is Awerbuck, just a so so vid of him. He is a great instructor in person. One of my all time favorites. The second one is a good friend of mine T.J. Pilling. Tiger Valley is his school and it has classes in Dallas and Waco. He's a former Marine sniper and was head of Garland PD SWAT for years. He was their head marksman. Pretty slick with a scattergun too. [thumbsup] Sorry for all the wind noise.

I love watching the top guys and gals run and gun! Live or video. It's like watching Rossi, Spies, etc. They all just blow me away... bikes or guns. Perfection is one thing, awesomeness never gets boring to me. I train as hard as I can on my own, my motivation comes from just wanting to be better, safer and more proficient. Bikes or guns. Watching top guns and Rossi is just plain fun entertainment! [clap] [popcorn] [bow_down]

If's official:

My brother's and I suck and trap/skeet shooting.

Blackwing Shooting club in Delaware, Ohio rocks.

This guy named Bill took us out for our 2rnds a piece (25 per round, but he gave us much more) and pretty much taught us pigeon shooting. We have all been before, but only 2-3 times each and never really at a club. More of a backyard slinging type of deal.

He is a former military and was on some special hostage task force so Bill only shoots like 90 of out of a 100 on sporing clays, but will ring every target with a 9mm as he has shot thousands and thousands of rounds on triple taps. I wouldn't doubt this dude.

Anyway, by the end of our adventure, Bill taught all of us many lessons on pigeon shooting:

Most importantly, position your face on the stock so your line of sight is direct with the barrel. Never ever look at the sights on the gun or the barrel in general. Just watch the target and depending on the shot, Eye aim whatever space between the target and your spray.

Just never thought of it that way as the majority of my shooting has been handgun, rifle, and fixed target shotgun.

He says it is very similiar, all muscle reaction and memory.

Also..........as we passed each station and game, Bill had us hitting pigeons we were way off on.

The best part:

Based on our shooting, he picked all of our professions.

doctor
lawyer
business Accountant

He picked it all up by interacting us by watching us shoot.

I might get some lessons from Bill on pigeon shooting, as well as handgun as he knows his shit.

What?  [bang] I'd should motivate you to train harder.

Of course, and it does.  But, I like to watch creative target shooting ie. a running deer or a sillouette coming at the shooter as well as a fixed course that the pro's practice on a thousand times.  Mixes it up a little and shows what a normal guy can expect to shoot.
