I guess I've been in health care too long; I thought nothing of it.

I guess the "disturbing" part was I could figure out wtf they were doing.  "Intriguing" would have been a better term.

Looked like they maybe were take bone marrow samples, but I thought they did that in the hip?

The patient looked so relaxed I would have probably guessed she was high.

What is its practical application?

What situation requires that many separate entrance wounds?

And what is the scale?

Used when you can't get an IV in....becoming more common in the field. The needles forming a circle are just stabilizing needles, the one the middle is the one that actually goes into the marrow to deliver medications.

EOE ;D

I was just glad it wasn't a moose on top of the sign.
It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.
