I can't wait until Marquez gets on his level and makes Jorge trip on his tampon string.

Mine's better because it has pistons, connecting rods, timing set,  and booze

The booze is a nice touch.  [thumbsup]

Are those silicone pads on the pistons to keep the glass in place?

Yes, but a V-12 like theirs could hold more pistons, connecting rods AND booze...

Seriously - I like yours better and am kicking myself just a little right now thinking of the old Chrysler V-8 blocks I consigned to the metal recycler about a month ago. I did hang on to all the loose pistons & rods that were laying about, and do have a glass tabletop in the garage waiting for a suitable coffee table idea to come along. I think it just did.  [thumbsup]

I've been thinking about an engine block coffee table, but just haven't run across a suitable block. Had an early Mustang Cobra aluminum 4.6 unit a while back, but they're valuable so it got hocked....

Piston/conrods also make great door knockers.
