i rode the bike to work this last week and enjoyed it, except the wind later in the day.

Copy that, RS.  I took a brief test ride on a customer's bike this evening and immediately wished the wind was about 20 mph slower.

I feel ya, Clony... Every time I get on the 1098s, there's that damn 100+mph headwind...

Speaking of which....I was out heading to lunch today and witnessed some poor schmuck on the interstate riding his bike in our fabulous 40 mph winds....with worse gusts....with tractor-trailers weaving around everywhere....and dust obscuring everything....and....well....you get it.  Crappy day to ride.

As to hundred mph headwinds, L'Scott, I wouldn't know anything about that.

I was on the interestate about lunch time-ish. Sure it wasn't me?  It really wasn't too bad with the wind. Made things exciting.
