Wish I had, Karl.  It was a beautiful day.  I spent most of my morning at the track helping Xen Stanhope tune his suspension for the race next weekend.  A morning well spent, but not as well as it might have been.

I did the Saturday track day with SMRI.  I'm not working as Chief Corner Marshal this year just so that I can do this, so I'm hoping several of you will be able to join me throughout the year.  I know L'Scott is down for some track day action.  How about Karl, Stuart, Krys & Matt, Larry, Jim, Ed, or even Matt Peters from Farmington...surely.  We have a huge contingent that travels down for races and track days from the Farmington area.  One gent from Durango came down with his new Panigale!

I rode the SuperSport and only participated in five of the six sessions.  I'm still worn out.  I began the day with a brand new Pilot Power (single compound) rear and it is now about 3/4 of the way into the wear bars on the right side.  Sheesh!  I wonder if they've changed these tires, 'cause I've never eaten tires that badly before.  That's only about 100 miles of riding.

The Sunday race day was cancelled due to high winds, so no racing this weekend.

Looking forward to May, already.  The next track day is May 18th with a race day on the 19th.  These events will be in the "New" configuraton where you use part of the North road course.  I'll be there....though on which bike is a matter of some speculaton.  Tickets are available at Bobby J's Yamaha.  Hope to see several of you there!
