The weather prevented a good riding opportunity. Was nice to see Scott, L'Scott, Scott#3, Caleb, Marco, Adam, Grant and Dillon at CAD.
If anyone is riding tomorrow, Pam and I will be ready to go.

Looking at the weather forecast. Seems it's unlikely there will be rain, but it will be cold in the morning. 50 degrees at 8am in Cedar Crest. so probably close to 40 at the top of the mountain.

My kind of weather  [thumbsup] I think I succeeded in talking Pam into taking a ride on the 1098 for the first time [clap]
Will be there by nine.

Although no real ride, it was nice to meet the other Scotts.  I got to bed in my new break pads on the ride to and from CAD, otherwise fun will have to be had another time.

BTW - drivers look at you strangely when you are slamming the gas up to 60 then breaking hard back down to a near stop for no apparent reason.  I don't recommend bedding your brakes in on gloomy grey mornings.

I'll show up nine-ish. Too cold to show up at eight, I think.

Great seeing everyone & meeting new folks [thumbsup]
Yes, sucky Crest weather... My 1st Cresting the 1098 died, & the second it rained (despite what Cloner says). Hmm... :P

Good day & nice ride...Met up with Larry, Caleb, Pam & Karl. Hats off to Pam for trying the 1098 up Crest...no major cop trouble...just some bad cagers crossing double yellow on blind apex! ???

Came back...washed the bike, cleaned chain, lubed...got the vortex rearsets mounted eccentric....now it is just perfect! Cant wait for next weekend ride... [Dolph]

Summarizing...Karl & Pam:
Ride forever...

I'm glad that Pam and I decided to join fellow hooligans on today's Crest ride.
Removed the passenger pegs when I got home since Pam's first ride on the 1098 was also her last.

Missed an entire weekend of riding...dammit.  But, got
To put 2200 miles on a rental car going to LA & back to get moto parts & some work done.  Managed to meet-up w/friends & family along the way.

Looking forward to being up @ CAD at least a few more times before the weather does us in...

I only see jesus having a sauna with a teletubbie.

I find it disturbing that you're imagining me in a sauna, never mind the teletubbie aspect of it
