yeah maybe so.
I was always at 28 cold.
I might need to start at 26 cold this time. Especially on new rubber.

visited a trusted suspension guy the other day and usual track pressures are 30/30 but they have tried the PURES and not a track tyre as such but
still good none the less, but were using higher near street pressures with good results 34/36 as are a different rubber compound

He gave them a good wrap for colder weather on the road where say PP or Corsa's dont work so well
i dont care if you have been a mechanic for 10 years doing something for a long time does not make you good at it, take my gf for an example shes been walking for 28 years and still manages to fall over all the time.

The Pure's are certainly not a track tyre compared to what I have now in the Supercorsa Pro's.
It will be a trial/error kinda thing I think to see what it feels like.

I did notice when I was riding Craigo's bike the other weekend that there is a decent amount of road noise
coming from them compared to Pilot Powers.

craigo

Pures do indeed sound like 4WD tyres compared to Powers.

Betty what you want for your old front end?

Garage has been reserved for us, booked under Oz Monsters hopefully.

As/look for it when you turn up on the 14th, Suzy and Jukie included when they rock up to show their support.

Ecster I know you will be there with the Ducati/Frasers squad but if you want a little more room please garage with us.

cheers

hey, what kind of mileage would you do on an average ride day if all your session took place without a need to cut it short due to blah, blah, blah?

mattyvas

20 mins a session usually.
Most people are riding 2:10 to 2:30
8-10 laps a session, 4k track or so.

200 klm's give or take.
