The Ducks have blanked yet another team.  69-0 kids.  They are def. improved from last year.

Iowa make the beast with two backsed tHat game up from the beginning was hoping they would go out there and get the big win.  Ferentz choked like always.

Are you really ragging on Oregon for beating Portland like that when OSU played a similarly pathetic FBS team in Ohio and couldn't shut them out?  Put down the kool-aid for two seconds to look at things objectively for a change.

Pretty sure the buckeyes proved last year that all those points and high powered, speedy offense doesn't mean shit when you play a good defense.  I guess the rose bowl wasn't a "truly" big game.

to you too rock.  I take a bunch of crap being a Buckeye's fan on here. I know I talk a lot but for the most part they back me up.  Living in Columbus I don't get to interact with many fans other than OSU ones so I love this smack talking. I'm really not one of the crazy and stupid Buckeyes fans.  I'm harder on Tress and his play calling than anyone. I hate when he turtles up in big games and kicks field goals instead of TD's.  However, in the past 5 years the D has given up an average of 1.04 TD's a game and he's averaging 10 wins a season at OSU in his career.

The fact remains that he's one of the top 5 (if not 3) coaches in the country and almost every other team would love to have the success that they Buckeyes have had under him.  I get to see what he does for this city and state and how his class and values help mold young boys into men.

Nice showing by Nevada to pummel Cal 52-31!  Nevada's QB looks like he's throwing the ball much better than the last few years. Hopefully that ends up being a problem for Boise State when they meet. 

I'm an almuni of both Nevada and Cal, but spent more time at Nevada so they get the nod when they play each other. Kinda sucked to see Cal look so bad though...Riley sucks (like I've been saying for 2 years).

I was about to call you out for being a traitor, then I find out you're an alum from both schools.  After two easy wins, Cal is put to the test and flunks.  This wasn't even a good test, let's call it a pop quiz.  The midterm and finals will show Cal's true weaknesses.  I have yet to watch the game on DVR, but not looking forward to it.  I guarantee that Cal will NOT lose next week, thank you BYE week.  After that, it's nothing but conference games, damnit!  Fingers crossed.  Go Bears!

Hopefully they can take it to the rest of the PAC-10, and still make the Rose Bowl. They need to improve their run defense though. Nevada is no offensive slouch...but neither are Oregon, Oregon State, USC, etc.

The game would have been close if Riley didn't suck so bad. Between him and Longshore, the last few years have been frustrating!

Man I hope so!   With Iowa losing, the Buckeyes need wins for their opponents. 

I really do think Miami is a good team.  Their D was super fast and physical, the offense just made too many mistakes and we took advantage of them.

Should be a great start to an awesome weekend. 

Arkansas looked good this weekend I'm hoping they can upset Bama.

West Virginia at LSU - some hot noncon action

Kentucky at Florida - who would have thought this matchup may be a decider in the east at the beginning of the season? Kentucky's 3-0

Alabama at Arkansas - SEC west elimination game, among two of the top teams in the division.

Elsewhere, I'll be curious about Miami/Pitt (great thursday nighter) and Boise/Oregon State
