Truly amazing that they were able to get the field ready for the NAVY/SDSU game.

As it turns out, the Big 10 isn't any cleaner than any other league.

Means nothing though b/c pryor is elligable to play in the bowl and then he will declare for the draft.  So once again, the NCAA does nothing...
If you can see Chuck Norris, he can see you.  If you can't see Chuck Norris, you may be only seconds away from death.

Yep. The NCAA look like buffoons on this one. There's no way these guys should be eligible for the Sugar Bowl. On the plus side, Nebraska has an excellent shot at winning the big 10 next year, and isn't that what they were looking for in changing conferences?

What we have here are some poor ( money wise ) athletes who decided to sell some of THEIR trinkets to get a little spending money .

Gold Pants which would fit on a Charm Bracelet, their Autographs, may be a couple of Jerseys....hardly worth a 5 game suspension .

I say suspend them from the Sugar Bowl and that's it.

Shortest sentence...." I am "   Longest sentence ... " I Do "

They can't be suspended for the SUgar Bowl.  Too much revenue would be lost.  Same reason Cam Newton never missed a game for the shenanigan's his family pulled (which he allegedly never knew about).

If that would have been some Miami guys you would have called them criminals and called for their immediate suspension.

I love the blame on the economy. To be fair, I think that student athletes get shafted since they bring in some major $$$ for the schools and yet they get nothing in return except for a way to get a contract in the NFL. That is a risk when you think that they might get injured while playing and never get a chance for the big $$$. Anyway, the rule are what they are and Pryor will never be punished. Whatever.

Well, after a promissing season, my Huskers wrapped it up looking pretty weak and tired. Congrats to Washington, it was obvious they wanted it much more. They really played a heck of a game.

I must complain about ESPNs coverage though. Because of the over time for the NC/Tenn game, most of the first half wasn't even aired. Once the game finally came on air all they played was commercials. Seriously, they didn't even show a Washington filed goal or the end of the 1st quarter. Then they cut out the game to show the UConn women losing. I ended up on my computer watching it on ESPN 3. Really aggravating.

The game was broadcast on ESPNU until the NC game ended.

You mean they get nothing except a college education at a top rated school?

LMT

Less then half of all college football players ever graduate.  I would guess that even out of those that do, the education was not theirs.

slowpoke13

But, the option is there for them to. They're stupid for not finishing it.

Hey Mich St, see what happens when you play against a real team.  :D  Roll Tide

Oh, Mississippi St would also like to welcome Michigan to the SEC.  [evil]
