Ok so he can "file for a determent" does that mean if the "determent" doesn't go through we will have to pay all the lawyer fees + court costs AND still have to pay for the ticket?

That's DEFERMENT.  They DEFER final judgment until the 90 days is up.
In 90 days: Has he been a good citizen?
YES: We will drop the charges.  Thanks for your cash!  No charges filed on your record.

I didn't know I got a letter from a lawyer.  Is that a number from the ticket?  Because I DO have a frucking ticket.  make the beast with two backsin Svoloch!!!

I got a letter, but the Cause No. listed doesn't match anything on the original ticket.  ???
