Just finished this out as a prototype.  1/4" Forged 5160, clay differential heat treated, rayskin, cordwrap and turkshead knot guard.  Sharp and pointy!  5" blade - 10.5 OAL
This isn't a dress rehearsal for life - this is it!

Thanks!  I'm thinking about making this a design I make frequently.

BTW - Woot.com has a bunch of Kershaw folders for cheap this morning.

I just got back from getting propane for the forge.  I need to make 12 of them for an A-Team so I guess I better get some more steel on hand and start pounding.
