just saw the expendables on movie2k..... awesome  i gotta see it again in better quality... that's one mean gun..  only been to the theatre once since the baby was born.. but i gotta see tron...

So, in short:

Great concept!

Aside from G.I. Joe and He Man, I think this might be one of the few decent "toy" films.

I would love to see this done on the big screen!!!!!!!

I would love to see it, but it's too "cartoonish". The trend is to make them into live action "believable" movies. They would need to make serious changes.

If they had stayed more in line with the cartoon, Transformers would have been much a better franchise.

I agree, but the trend is to make cartoons believable, which waters down what we fell in love with originally.

True. Hollywood is quite adept at ruining our fond cartoon memories.

All things considered, I'd much rather go see a movie called "Rock'em Sock'em Robots" than "Real Steel".

Rock'em Sock'em Robots was not even a cartoon!! It's a cheap toy. If this is not a sign that they are running out of recycled ideas, then I don't know what is.

1) As of today there are only 4 days left until Tron opens in theaters. Check out some concept art:







2) Movie's to television: It appears that 2 new series will be airing towards the end of 2011 themed after The Transporter and Taken.

3) We'll see a return to the silver screen for the Muppets in late 2011
