ducati is screwing me on the new bike purchase

Ducati Thailand will not allow the dealers to work on Ducatis not bought from the Dealers or to PX bikes not bought from the dealers.  50% of the Ducatis in thailand come from japan as 2nd hand imports. its a dumb policy as half the ducati owners in Thailand  are forced to go to the independants or DIY like myself . I was going to buy a new Ducati last year but the dealer was so rude and told me my bike was a crap import which he would not do a PX on that now i will never do business with them ever again.

New dealer i am not happy with either, he promised riding by the weekend, no bike, and not even an f'n call back today to give me any info   I called 3 times.  humor me, tell me it;s on the way  anything 
I am giving you almost 17grand (with taxes) .  I used to sell aftermarket car parts.  I gave better service to someone buying a $300 clutch.
The funny part is my friend is looking for a Hypermotard once he sells his car.  And the other sales man at this dealer had the balls to ask if my friend was still intersted in one, after not having his partner call me back.

to be fair...what you're saying is how incredibly hard and frustrating it's been to get a bike at thousands less than the normal cost in your country.    Still sucks, but you have to keep perspective if you're getting this worked up over what is basically trying to get an amazing deal.   If it were easy to save multiple thousands quickly...well....

a month from now you will forget all about thes few extra days of waiting.  pics of the bike in the crate at the dealer would be cool too.  think of them like those IZ_ baby ultrasound pics that the women at the office get all crazy about... but cooler!  i wish i would have snapped a few of my baby while it was still in the 'womb'
