I think that character is doing a good job of showing how crappy the world has become.

I mean, for whatever reasons, Shane saved her and Carl's lives and she feels something for that.

Of course, Rick is protecting his own but she ought to get a better grip on "staying together" cause she is either currency or dinner in this new world.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

Anybody else notice:

Hershel's shotgun had an unlimited amount of ammo?  30+ rounds...wow, I want that.

It was night time with the burning barn and then all of a sudden Glen is in the car in broad day light with his gf telling him to turn around and go back?

grrrr...details.....
If you love your bike, set it free.
If it comes back to you, you've
probably high-sided.

Hershel was reloading, but it was excessive for that 4-round tube mag pump.

Everyone drove thru the night, at least that's how I understood it.

He shot that thing at least 8 times. I thought it was a magical shotgun.

it's possible with a remington, but you'd need the tube extension which he didn't have

The lighter the brat character used to set the barn on fire was magic too.  Stayed lit in a breeze and when dropped 14'.

I believe it was a Zippo, if so, plausible.

Okay okay okay,  just watched the finale last night. Still mad there was not more security around the farm, they didn't have supplies ready, or even a plan of action to get out safely and together. Why even shoot some of them.  Get in the cars and get the make the beast with two backs out.

I was kicking the couch when Laurie reacted to Rick killing Shane.  I am not or never will be into hitting women but I swear if I was Rick I would have decked her in the face.  That is exactly what she wanted Rick to do. She fing told him to do it. How can she be upset at him?  God I hate her and Carl.

All in all a great episode.  Rick grew some nuts and I can't wait for the prison.

Compendium 1 is on its way and I can't wait to start reading these.

I think that was because they were in a remote place and had no expectation of being overrun.  It was just ignorance and now they know better.

Seems to me after Dale was killed they would have considered at least setting up some traps or a regular watch though to keep an eye out for stragglers.

But no escape plan, they didn't think they needed one.

I agree on the posted lookouts. Why wouldn't you have that. Did they really feel that safe at the farm? They had lookouts earlier on top of the RV when they were on the road. And with the loss of someone on the farm you'd think they'd be all over the lookouts and the bug out plan.

It was kinda nice to see the farmer get into popping some walkers with the scattergun. But like someone else mentioned... why? You are officially being over run. No "broken arrow" call here, just bug out. But as a viewer I did like the "whack a mole"/Chuck E Cheese game of shooting some zombies while you can. But that also puts them further in the hole ammo-wise.

It is better than the first couple of new season shows. And yes, I'm still sick of Carl and Momma! It will interesting to see what happens next. [popcorn] Hey, who got Dale's bolt action rifle? ???
I plan to list the Federal Gov't. as a dependent on my next 1040 tax filing!

I have flying honey badgers and I'm not afraid to use them!

The fact that flame throwers exist is proof that someone somewhere said "I'd sure like to set those people over there on fire but I'm just not close enough to get the job done."

CONFIDENCE: the feeling you have right before you understand the situation.

They did mention with the "swamp" drying up and the cows getting out, that it was like ringing the dinner bell which would explain why the zombie headed that way and possibly not needing lookouts due to natural bounderies.
