I was yelling at the TV for Andrea to die already, and I got super excited when they showed that big nasty bite mark on her neck. It was perfect! My wife just shook her head and told me that it was dissonant resonance, whereby seemingly all of us wanted her dead and we "put it out there and it happened." I said, "if that was the case, she would have been gone 3 seasons ago!"

Seriously.

Is there ANYONE in the show who is truly likeable that matters?

I remember everyone hated Carl.

I still dislike him.  He's just a little psychopath.  Sheriff Rick is buckling, but you know that will produce some good stuff later.  He'll explode and Glenn will have to shoot him in the leg or something.

I'm glad Merle is gone.  He was such a predictable turd.  His last scenes were the best, I love how Michonne got under his skin esp considering he was a racist/skinhead type.

no one in that show is really likeable, EXCEPT Glenn and Maggie, and Glenn is still learning how to stand when he pees.

My theory about Merle the bigot:

After the episode where Daryl shows his scars, I got the feeling that dad was the true racist and he just tried to beat that into the boys.  Merle just acted racist because he thought he was supposed to.  (Connected to this is when Rick asked Merle if he knew why he does the things he does)  Deep down, both brothers aren't that way.  Only Daryl was savvy enough to figure that out for himself.  It's almost as if Michonne sensed this (her character seems to be very perceptive) and used it to mind-make the beast with two backs ol' one track Merle.

Yeah, I don't spend that much time sie-ko-anal-eye-zing them.

Merle was a klanny.  

Daryl is just smart enough to call a spade a spade.

now that walking dead is dormant for a while I have switched my focus back to my other favorite series to hate, where you instinctively root for all the folks to get killed off;

"Revolution"


acting as bad as the scripting, insipid predictable dialogue, inexplainable idiocy....it is a close second to Walking

At least Walking had the zombie factor. I really tried not only to watch, but to also like Revolution. Unfortunately I got lost since I would fall asleep half way through every single episode.
