I thought the finale was pretty damn good.

I'm definitely hooked, too bad we have to wait until fall of 2011 to continue...

It was nice to see Grimes show some emotion and doubt when he was hammered.

I loved that everyone just drank themselves stupid. What would you do during the zombie apocalypse on your one night of safety?

It's AMC, they didn't get much money for the whole season. They'll bring it back. Now I'm pissed cause I have to wait to find out what he whispered. I think it was that someone is infected.

I love this show and don't see the need to dissect the minutae of what is realistically portrayed or not.


HOWEVER.....

Why the hell would you walk by a .50cal +ammo and not think it might come in handy?


Personally I have a preference for tanks.  Particularly useful for getting out of downtown Atlanta when 1000 walkers are grinning at you

I was thinking the same thing, why not take one or two of those or maybe find some newer vehicles to drive around certainly not a 70's winnabago that needs constant repairs. But whatever, Im hooked too. Great way to kill an hour

If it was me I'd have been grabbing up every single weapon I could lay my hands on..

A humvee would have been a much better vehicle than the winnabago for sure...

BUT the characters were under some serious stress and had to get out before being overrun. So can you blame them for running without thinking?

Again, if it was me I'd have been dual wielding some .50 cal's tearing some zombie ass up.

Here's my rational plan

Get one of these with a 5th wheel in the bed, find a fuel tanker and steal it. I'm set road warrior style for MONTHS, then just drive around north america scavenging weapons and thousands of rounds of ammo. Weld a few .50 cal's in various awkward positions to my truck and fuel tanker and be the king of the world.

Didn't the doctor say the lab in the CDC building would reach 5000 to 6000 degrees?  Hot enough to ignite air?  And at 100 yards away everyone is fine?  They're talking nuclear blast?

the unreality of the show is that that RV gets horrible gas mileage and there simply isn't enough gas around to keep it filled conveniently -- why don't they have some extra gas cans on the back to scavenge?

that's the kind of thing that bugs me.  more than the glock with a safety. 

also, given the lack of available gas, you're not going to drive 5 gas guzzlers around.. they had 5 jeeps/vans/trucks including the RV.. wtf?
