Yerp.  Ducati franchise was bought by Mancuso HD/Powersports.  Aprilia and MotoGuzzi franchises were bought by Houston Superbikes.

Also rumored is that Lunsford's lead tech is now working at Houston Superbikes.

Deals like that do not happen overnight. There was no indication of anything other than buisness as usual when I last visited just before Thanksgiving.
Wonder if the owner just decided it was time to move on?

Wow, that's surprising.  I am not sure if I am actually that upset by that, though.

Under any other circumstances, I'd say good riddance as their customer service was downright insulting to my fair sex. However, they still owed me my 18K service on my maintenance plan and kept saying they "couldn't" take the bike all Sept/Oct, apparently putting it off until they were liquidated. Dirty bastards! Not a surprise but still pisses me off!
