I may be in the minority, but that Duc is one of the fugliest paint jobs I've seen on a Duc SBK. There's a local one here that i've seen a few times...just as ugly in person.  :-\

don't omit the blue grips!

[laugh] Unfortunately this isn't a Bostrom Replica, though that certainly could be pretty cool.

Trust me though, the grips on this bike are one of the coolest parts, especially when you see them on the Carbon bars, with the fancy new master cylinders   [drool]

Shame I still need a dozen or more parts to finish her up....

updates?

Just lots of little things at the moment, but nothing photo-worthy just yet.

Give me about 2 weeks, and the new triples, brakes, bars, mc's, wheels, headlight assembly, (possibly guages), etc.. will get mounted up, and pics will follow!

:)

Sorry guys, this project has definitely fallen onto the back burner.

Partly my fault, partly just the oddness of the parts that we want to use on it are taking forever to arrive.

I must say that blue is one of my favorite top 3 colors on a machine, I have knicknamed that color "Puto Blue" and every time I see that color I get a tingly sensation...let me stop before I need a change of undies. But anyway I am sure that it's going to look xtremely sexxxy!

Brake rotors finally arrived, but with a bike as custom as this, there is a strong learning curve (ie - 2 steps forward, 1 step back), and we just haven't had much time to really mess around with her over the past couple months.

Honestly I think it will be finished and ready to go sometime towards the middle of this winter... meaning I'll have to wait a couple extra months just to ride it.

We had LuiMoto make a custom seat cover for us - http://bellissimoto.com/LuimotoSeats.html

We cut apart the wiring harness and re-worked it to suit our needs.

Relocated the ignition coils to hide them inside the frame.

And we are using Koso gauges with a DragonPlate CNC Machined carbon fiber backing plate that we designed.

Painted tail section with chopped fender and Barracuda turn signals were installed after the electronics were all successfully relocated to be hidden behind the tail plastics.
