Well at least when you get there you'll have practice.    [bang]

Sold the house and Colin yesterday so I could pay off the service bill on the 916SPS. Probably worth it. [thumbsup] I now have the world's most expensive Tamburini bike and it looks and runs just like cdc's bike. :P I'll be taking that baby to the grave with me... too much damn money in it now to ever get rid of it. But, on the good side, it apparently does run normally. Idles and everything. I even got to see it do so with my own eyes. Will pick it up today and report back on the seat of the pants dyno readings.

I also have in my possession four of the most expensive paperweights you've ever seen! Anyone want to pay me an extravagant amount of money for a set of Ducati Corse race cams for a 996?? The tallest peaks in the Alps pale in comparison to the lobes on these cams. Probably not a big market for 996 race cams these days. I'll just put them in a shadow box and hang 'em in the garage. [laugh]

Yeah, I can see it now... "Are you happy to see me or are those just your camshafts?"

Nice lobes, baby.

Ha, I've got a set of Daytona cams like that for my 91 ZX7 racebike.  They were great for sustained high rpm horsepower like for the front straight at Texas World Speedway, but sucked for the shorter tracks where you needed midrange.  Had to replace them with some Muzzy race cams, so now the Daytona cams sit in a box in the garage.  I bet they'd work on your 92, fastwin!!  Wanna trade?

[evil]   ...C'mon Brian, swap 'em out.  I mean it's just a couple bolts and maybe  an hour's worth of labor, right?  Cheap horse power...
