A puggle, however inebriated on pain meds, KNOWS when you've got beef jerky in your backpack.  Always. ;D

I predict a full recovery [thumbsup]

Hope ya'll have a great weekend, despite Ike, sick dogs, lack of Motopia, cows that chase motos, oily roads, balancing groceries on moto in the rain (how???), and whatever else may be bothering you!  Going home now! ;)

...well it's like if they slide too far one way, push them the other way... and if that's too far, then push them back...
Oh, and watch out for traffic and slippery turns too.
  [thumbsup]
Not me!  Got a haircut appointment at 1:00

Great.   This thread has now been jacked and gone to hell. :-\  Maybe it will get back on topic soon.

when was it jacked?  I hope you weren't meaning when slag and I were talking about meeting up so he could show me how to use the new cam I bought for the "Arkansas Trip."  oh, I'm sorry, you were probably talking about 5 or 6 pages back when they were talking about waffles, food and waffle bunnies.   ;)

hmm... could it have been the page and a half of crap we ALL had to wade through that could have been handled via pm's or email? seriously, who cares? I wonder if a chat room or a twitter account would be better suited for some of the poor innocent bandwidth (& DMF members' time) that's being squandered here.  [roll]

Much apologies if I have wasted anyone's time....certainly wasn't my intention. :P

no worries mate, if people were worried about wasting time and bandwidth they wouldn't be on 2 word or drinking threads :P

Sorry for the harsh post. Believe me, I've contributed my share of thread-jacking and time wasting posts so I'm not trying to trying to sound "holier-than-thou".  A lot of people like to keep up to date with the DFW happenings concerning this group and it starts to become a full time job going through all the posts that might not be relevant or of interest to more than a few people. I think that's what the "2 word", "drinking", "say anything", etc. threads are for; to keep non topical content separate for those that may not have the time to sift through the fluff.

for those that may not have the time to sift through the fluff.

Maybe you could outsource that task?

and fluff? I postulate there is an unsurpassed depth of insight & wisdom in each & every post [thumbsup]

I nominate DLS for LSD Secretary.  In addition to keeping the records of the society and the minutes of the meetings, it is the duty of the secretary to fluff-sift and  provide interpretation of the insight & wisdom contained therein.

No worries, will. I'm sure we can try harder to keep one thread for just the facts regarding trips and events, and reserve our individual comments on tires, rain gear, hotel rooms....whatever....for another thread.  We don't want to make it harder for those around here who are simply trying to gather info!    [thumbsup]
