I will privately admit to wanting the XR1200 and the Nightster. I would never admit it in public however  [laugh]

I would buy an XR1200 ...but I've pretty much blown my new vehicle budget for the next two years...   :'(

-but by then maybe I could pick one up used/cheap?  ???

 8) Harley has an interesting promotion where if you buy a new '08 or '09 Sportster (XR 1200 excluded from offer) and drive it less than a year, they will then let you trade it in at FULL MSRP on a new ( selected ) Harley !  In essence you get to ride a year for "free".  [moto]

Harley offered the same deal when the 883 Sportsters came out... of course back then they cost $3,999.00 which I believe was in 1986-1987. Keep it a year and they would give you the full $4K value trade in on a big boy's bike. Great offer!
