So here's an update and advice.. NEVER order the frickin sticker, stick to the old school one.. I decided to place the sticker on my windshield as the booths would NOT work with the sticker anywhere (tried inside my helmet!, under my seat, in my jacket front pocket... nothing!). So I keep it there for 2 days and today decide it looks like sh*t and try to remove it. It left a LOT of glue residue so my buddy suggested to use some goof off... Well that's the end of my winshield, it looks like crap could have used nail polish and it would have turned out better...

so now, i'm on the market for a new windscreen... maybe I'll get the smoked out... who knows... but is it me or does it seem that you can't buy the DP stock windshield w/out shelling out $400+ for the complete part to include the fairing? ffs

Bummer... maybe try lighter fluid next time?

Again, as long as your plate is registered to your tolltag account, you do NOT need either the sticker or the tag on the vehicle.

I am going to start fighting this soon also.  My old school toll tag bit the dust, and I have to run by and get a fresh one.  I am not so worried about the toll booths, but more businesses are using them for parking access.  My parking garage access at work is tied to my toll tag so I need to figure out how to make it work.

I was thinking of making a new old school toll tag with the new one.  I was just going to stick it to a small piece of plexiglass and then I can keep it portable between the bikes.  And then just toss it the top, clear, part of my tank bag.  Do you all with new new tags think that this will work?

bring it over, I got the special thing just for that problem.......it's called rustoleum!  I did it to mine and it looks better than the smoked screen.  I'll be home tomorrow night around 8 p.m. from a trip or anytime Tuesday.

You can still change vehicles on the web site, but the toll tag is a sticker that you stick to the inside of your windshield much like your registration sticker.

They told me at the Tolltag store that since it's a bike, just throw the tag in a draw at the house and let them pick it off of the plate.  But since I need it to get into the parking garage at work I have just thrown it in my tank bag for now.

yeah, i've used toll tags for several years...but what i was saying was that you couldn't have one set up for your bike, and then just carry it in your car as well; it's a one-to-one relationship.  i think lisa said something about getting a nice little ticket from them a long while back when she used one of her tags for a different vehicle, simply because the plates didn't match the tag.

Yep, I've got one toll tag for two bikes.  It's registered to the 999's plate number but you can go on-line and electronically "change" the plate number on the toll tag to accept another motorbike.

I forgot to do that once when I was on the 620 and ended up with a fine on our bill several months later since the plate numbers were different.  It was a while back but from what I remember, the fine wasn't much.
