Why doesn't Ducati sell a "Ducati Corse" license plate frame?  

Maybe they realize that most riders would like to find a way to hide their license plate, like stuffing it under the seat.

Personally, I think license plates are obsolete. Why aren't there OEM transponders in all vehicles? When you bought the vehicle, new or used, your ownership would be associated with that transponder's code by the local tax office, and transmitted electronically to the state DMV. Then the same transponder would work for toll roads, red lights, and traffic stops. This could  save billions of taxpayer dollars.

Oh, excuse me! I forgot everyone reading this probably likes to speed and run red lights.

Well, then.... go ahead and stuff your plates in your seats, then.

it's my car my bike.  to hell with your transponders.  they already know way too much about my life as it is.  gotta stop somewhere, besides we have Onstar and the like that will notify people when there's an accident.
