I'm home from Turismo.  [thumbsup] Had an awesome trip, ride, party  [Dolph] [beer]. Great to catch up with Jukie, Betty, Andy, G, Rendang.  I did some additional miles with some DOCV friends. On top of Turismo, we rode Bonang twice, Granya  [thumbsup], Brown Mountain, Candelo-Cathcart twice, Kangaroo Valley, Mac Pass a couple of times (the blokes kept turning around to do it again) and I got totally dizzy round West Gippsland yesterday.
Weather has been stunning the whole time except one day where we didn't have to go anywhere so we had a bbq, drank beer and listened to Robbie Phillis' hilarious racing tales.

True to form I destroyed my rear tyre - again. Conti Road Attack 2 after only 5503 kms  :'( :'( The boys wouldn't even let me ride it to the shop to get them changed - trailer job!

And renewed my Monster - anyone want to buy a low km 1000s  [roll] [roll]

Dez I think I was running about 38 psi and I was riding with luggage.  I had a bit of a straight commute to Phillip Island of about 350km then all twisty stuff.  There was quite a bit of spirited riding and some of the people who have ridden with me before commenting that I seem to have regained my mojo.  The weather was rather warm, therefore warm tarmac and the high country roads are rather harsh.  Loved the grip of the tyres but a little disappointed in the longevity.  Couldn't get another road attack today so have put a pilot power pure on the front and a pilot road 3 on the rear. I have a ride up to Dargo at the end of the month so will be interested to see how they go.

Oh, and I wouldn't know how to do a RobS if I tried.  ;D

Hmm strange Heather,
I put the R2's on Mrs Dogs 695 and noticed they squared off after our last 1400 k Alpine ride running the same psi  [thumbsdown]
For some reason the sport attack 2 (two sets now) I'm getting at least 7k very odd -running 40 psi r 36 psi f
But  the grip from them is exceptional , they get super sticky in warm weather I looked at them at the bottom of Clyde mountain and after the Bonang and they looked like they had just come into the pits after a dozen hot laps at Eastern creek , balled up and so sticky stones were gluing to them.
And they don't go off towards the end of their life,  expensive but safe  [thumbsup]

Dez, I'm riding a 1000 which may make a difference over the 695.

This was how my Conti sport attack finished up after a recent weekend ride Heather, when they go they don't give you a lot of warning.   Got close to 7000 out of it, which was around 1000 too much i'd say

NFI has put up Turismo photos on their FB page here: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151233187852622&set=a.10151233183737622.483050.239314287621&type=1&theater

I managed to evade the photographer everywhere except when we all took off from Parliament house.  [thumbsup]
