I have a new CNC adjustable brake pedal part for the 999.  It doesn't look terribly complex installation-wise but are there any little minefields I need to be aware of?  ;D

Make sure the rod that goes up into the brake cylinder is not too far inside of the cylinder after you replace the lever.  This happened to me when I switched my rearsets over from the S2r to the S4RS and once the brake fluid heated up it could not expand so the calipers start rubbing on the disc....not good.  Maybe put a mark on it currently and make sure the mark is in the same place after putting the new lever on.

Hope all is well with you and the rest of the folks here.

Take care,

I've got new levers coming from EBay as I dropped
the Hyper, so I'll have a try at making another mod.  [bang]

Make sure & do the install 1st thing in the morning-
Your garage gets really hot in the afternoon, & you don't want your beer to become undrinkable during the install [thumbsup] [drink] [beer]

Nope. Stopped on sand and broke lever and mirror.

Some never get that much love...
I saw an '08 GT 1000 for sale on C/L today:  830 miles on it TOTAL.

Somebody needs to buy it and use it as intended.   :'(
