I'm totally grinning from ear to ear.

Finally got my clutch bled, did a double check to make sure everything was done up tight, then went for a short blatt.  It's like a totally different bike.  The riding position is wonderful - stretched out and down over the tank, so you almost feel like you're flying.  The brakes are just incredible.  Wonderfully smooth and progressive with great easy feel, and they're super powerful.

The biggest change is the forks though - it feels like you're on rails.  They just comply to every bump.  The nosediving under brakes is completely gone, and the bike just feels super stable.

God, I can't wait until the weekend - I want to try the old road with this.  I can't wait for superbike school - it's going to be a complete hoot.

I think I'll crack open a little creatures to celebrate.
