Hey everyone. I posted a thread in the intro section, but thought I would say hi to everyone who is a little closer to me. Just bought my first bike, a 2001 Monster 750, and will be picking it up in a week or two (have to go get it in Austin). Anyways, I look forward to learning from you all and maybe riding with some of you all once I get settled in on my bike.

Original intro thread with a pic of the bike is here: http://www.ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=48473.0

Hey there.... Welcome. I do like the the uniqueness of your new 750. It will certainly get some looks. Be careful going back to Houston when you pick it up.

Welcome.  There are two Ducati Owner's Clubs in the area to check out as well:

South East TX D.O.C. is the original and Third Coast D.O.C. is the newer "official D.O.C.", but made up of all ex SETxDOC members.  Both are a good group of people.

What area of the city are you in?

Im up in the Northwest/Cypress area of Houston. The don't know if I want to take the reflectors off, but my buddy painted his with some "clear black" paint if that makes since. They look black but still refelect. I may try that and see how it looks. Taking my trailer up to Austin and bringing it back that way since I don't want my first ride to be a long one on the highway. I'll let you all know when I get it home!

There are a couple others out that way I know of.  Photogirl from this board and Ron from SETxDOC.
