I received a pair of VCan Bluetooth helmets as a gift, and I decided to change it up with some Duc decals.  I emailed a couple of sites with no answer, and then I found Twisted Vinyl Graphics who emailed me back the same day and shooed later that day.  Essentially, I emaied him right before lunch Friday, he got back to me by 1 or so, we emailed back and forth, and he got some images to me before 5pm and had it mailed out the same day.  I received it today, and he did a great job.

I also slapped on some Duccutters decals.

Artful

Were these advertised specifically as helmet decals or no? They need some downward deflection so they conform to the curve of the visor. If you just bought them as squares then yeah, they work.

Sorry, I'm picky about decals, hazard of the trade.

They're not advertised as helmet decals, but they're small enough and flexible enough to conform to the shape of the bucket.  I had some bubbles on it and I've worked out most of them, specially on the green decal.  They're relatively easy to work with.

I gotcha, that makes sense then. They'll conform fine, I just was referring to the downward curve the logo has. You can cut the decal with an opposing curve (called deflection) so that when you apply it it looks straight. Looks good though, leave the helmet out in the sun or go for a long ride on a hot day and the rest of those bubbles will work themselves out  [thumbsup]

Though it'd have been nice if they were just the letters on some placement paper.. oh well.

-Throttle's on the right, so are the brakes.  Good luck.

It's a curse. You know you're in the sign business when you can't keep yourself from walking up and feeling a sign to see how it was made or looking at the dot pattern and trying to figure out what printer it came off of.

Erik at Twisted makes excellent work. He designed a full set of custom vinyls for my bike for a ridiculous price. Excellent fit and finish. He's also a board member that goes by Eichh.

+1

He made us a bunch of small Duc logos that we used as seals on our wedding invitations.

Very reasonably priced and fast.   [thumbsup]

that's actually what he normally sells, but he had to do a custom job for me because I needed the background to cover the decal on the helmet.

He made the decal seen below on my oil cooler grill.  Nice guy to do business with as well.

People need to make more refelective decals that look good.  I was looking for a REFLECTIVE helmet decal at one point to add some visibility and everything out there is sooo cheesy.

I just use the reflectors I removed from the forks.
