Did not even see a comment section on the article link. Good call! [thumbsup] Hopefully your efforts or Nate's will get us some info and guidance as to what to do.
I plan to list the Federal Gov't. as a dependent on my next 1040 tax filing!

I have flying honey badgers and I'm not afraid to use them!

The fact that flame throwers exist is proof that someone somewhere said "I'd sure like to set those people over there on fire but I'm just not close enough to get the job done."

CONFIDENCE: the feeling you have right before you understand the situation.

the question remains...

what would we like to do as a group...if anything?

This really sucks.

Not for nuthin'...

We're here for a good time...

not necessarily a long time.

Dolph lived that way.

Quote"I fully expected this to happen," David Virden said. "It's something I've been living with for a while. He was a 61-year-old guy riding a motorcycle that can go 160 mph. With the adrenaline coming out your ears, it's not a good mix."

How many of us get to die riding a motorcycle?

While I'm sad that he's gone, I can't bring myself to feel bad for him going out doing something he loved so much.

Quote"At least he died doing what he love doing the most," David Virden said. "Not everyone does that."

Never had a cross word for anyone.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

It's kind of freaking morbid and maybe not even the right time and place but I am sure many of you will agree and know where I am coming from. Hopefully. And I am sorry if I offend. But like  previous posts said, he died doing what he loved the most. His brother obviously felt the same way. I told my bike hating wife what happened and she lit off on how many friends and folks I know have to die or get hurt for me to stop riding? Is it just me or does that have nothing to do with her? I love my wife but that's pretty self centered. If I loved to trout fish (and I do) and fell into the river I was fishing on and drowned does that mean everyone should stop trout fishing? Not in my world. Dolph would never ever want us to stop riding because of what happened to him. Nor more than I would. Life goes on. Ride like you are riding for Dolph. If I die ride like you are riding for me. I'll do the same for you! [thumbsup] [moto]

Damn. That sucks. Dolph and I sure had our share of disagreements on this board, but I'm pretty sure everyone (myself included) respected his exuberance for life and for riding. Definitely a big loss to our little community.

RIP Dolph.

My dad sent me this quote a few years ago:

a well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways,

I raise a glass to Dolph. You died as you lived, which is something not many achieve.

I own several motorcycles. I have owned lots of motorcycles. And have bolted and/or modified lots of crap to said motorcycles...
