Welcome [Dolph]

You don't need to overhaul it though - 26K isn't very much 8)
It might be fun anyhow.....
252,000 km/seventeen years - loving it

welcome to the board. you can avoid a lot of the "what the????" moments by taking pictures before you take it apart, and whenever you get to a complicated area.

good luck!
Never wrestle with pigs. You both get dirty, and the pigs like it...

Welcome!

As has been said, there's no reason just based on mileage to think the motor is worn.  It should easily go 4x that long without significant internal wear. Now if something has broken or its been starved for oil maybe time for a rebuild, but the mileage alone isn't anything of concern.  Ride and have fun  [clap]

My original intent was to completely overhaul it but....thinking about it, after riding it a few times.  I don't think I would have to open the crankcase  :-\ ...maybe I'll check the valves and piston ring's just in case...(mostly out of curiosity ;D)  but it's mainly because I want to paint it and change a lot of parts on it esthetically....  Everyting as too match ...typical girl stuff... ;D

I'll try to post a photo of the bike a soon a possible...
