My school doenst teach this, its just the way i fight. a left jab in boxing is a set up, but a left "jab" can be a very powerful punch if you throw your body into it, so instead of a jab, its just like a left punch.

Right punch, left punch left hook to the head, left liver hook, right kick to the leg and then immediately right punch.
We've worked the left from the rear shoulder in a left-foot forward stance before, where it comes as more of a cross.  Sounds kinda like what you're describing.

We also work "same side" techinques like you described... throw the technique, then yank that side back to re-set and fire again.  Works great when your opponent gets stung somewhere and keeps shielding it the whole round... if he'll only give you the right side, you have to be able to attack it.  So re-chamber and throw another one.

10 rounds. Count them 10 mothermake the beast with two backsing 5 minute rounds. 2 minute breaks in between where we had to do 30 guard situps. Rotating partners. Oh and followed by 4 rounds of grappling. To finish things off, 50 burpees. 4 people threw up. I almost did; i had to wait 15 minuted before i trusted my legs enough to ride home.

I think my coach is trying to kill us.

On the off days when I'm not at a Muay Thai class, I work out with a buddy that has me doing all this crossfit crap.  Sunday we did 100 Burpee clean / presses.  Example here: http://youtu.be/d21PK9LclCE

That guy is using #135.  I did mine with #65 and tried to finish in the quickest time possible.

On the 37th push-press, I dropped the #65 bar right down on the bridge of my nose.  Racoon eyes today, hurts to touch it... might have broken it.

12 days 'til the Smoker.

the vides shows a burpee type movement, into a deadlift, into a wonderful reverse curl.

30 guard situps.
What is this 'guard situp'?  I tried to youtube it but it had a bunch of instruction for sitting up from guard... i'm assuming the exercise is like that, but I don't roll so I dunno...

Naw, nothing quite that easy. Basically one person stands up and the other jumps on him, legs around the waist. The person standing needs to stand still while the person with the guard needs to do a situp where the head touches the ground on the way down. It's basically a hanging Situp, but way make the beast with two backsing harder.

Ew.

We usually parter off for pad drills based on size... since I'm tall and skinny, I usually wind up working with a guy that is 20-30lbs heavier than me.  This isn't such a big deal during pad work 'cuz I can bump off or fade from the force of their blows (except clinch knees... I just hang on and get rag-doll'd during those), but when we do the bodyweight calisthenics I'm pretty much hosed.  So if we did the guard sit-ups you described, 180lbs me would probably wind up holding a 210 lbs guy while he tried to crank out 30 hanging sit-ups.

This weight mis-match kinda bit me on the ass Wednesday night... we did fireman's carry the length of the mats, and I tweaked my groin.  It wasn't too bad when I walked out of class, but there was no running yesterday.  We'll see if it lets me spar tonight.

9 days 'til the smoker.

The good- banged out a CF workout on Saturday.  Didn't smoke, even though all my drunk neighbors kept offering.  Rested the strained groin the remainder of the holiday weekend.

The bad- did no cardio for two solid days, embalmed myself in light beer and processed meats the remainder of the holiday weekend.

Counting today, five days 'til the Smoker.

I've been running and doind intervals a lot. Hell I woke up an hour early today to do intervals. The problem with that is that it's 9:40 and I'm already starving marvin over here.

I also gave myself a nice little beer embalming over the weekend. Yesterday celebrated by eating half a pack of oreos.  I feel like I should be mooing instead of talking.

Also adding that the gym was closed friday through monday for the 4th. I'm jonesing for a good workout.

Man!!!! I had one of those days today.  I was Randori'ng with half the lower level belts at Judo tonight so I was working on my technique.  Everything clicked and I was ragdolling everyone!  Some days, you're the hammer!

I threw someone so hard that he over rotated and fell on his chest, instead of his back.  LOL My bad!!! but you gotta take em to dish em!

None.  It's in-house, classmate-vs-classmate.  We do one about every eight weeks or so to check up on where we are skill- and fitness-wise.

I'd agree.  I've noticed that guys will do what works against Classmate A when they fight someone outside the school, and kinda act suprised when I doesn't go as planned.

We usually invite other schools, and sometimes they even show up after they say they're coming.  I dunno if no one wants to fight us or we're just a pain in the ass to drive to.  I think it's 'cuz we never wash our handwraps.
