ive been kneed in the nuts HARDCORE twice.

I also delivered a HARDCORE shot to the nuts once.

All during training. I went to kick this guy and we both kicked each other and my knee went straight into his nuts before i could get my leg fully out. He was wearing his cup kinda loose and high.

Ive been racked before with the shock doc carbon fiber cups and it hurt but didnt knock the wind out of me...thai cups however.... well they are just about hte worst invention to protect the sack.  I almost threw up several times.

You laugh now, but the "real world" martial arts, like Krav, teach this as a technique. It has to be one, if not the best way to disable a male opponent.

At risk of the epic self-brun I'm about to inflict... it's a pretty small target.  Sure, the results are difficult to argue with, but there's not a lot of room for error.  It's fairly well protected by body structure to begin with, and when you add modern groin protection to that it's even tougher to disable a guy.  We had a classmate take a huge knee right in the junk during the last smoker and he still finished two more rounds.

Even when this was still legal in Thailand's stadium championships, there were only a couple fighters that were consistently successful with this as a cornerstone of their fighting tactics. 

This should in no way be construed as a disposition against hitting dudes in the junk.  I am still a big advocate of the late-night-drinking-buddy-sneaky-dick-punch as a form of humor.

just kidding dude, that sounds unpleasant. there this guy at the gym with one of those stupid "altitude masks" he bought for like 100 bucks.  we cant help but make fun of him.
