f your up there, check out Traverse City, MI. I grew up there, and honestly, the most beautiful area int he country. Sand dunes, miles of fresh water beaches, and amazing food.

When you hit Detroit, cross the border and ride the north shore of lake erie and cross back over at Niagara falls. If  you do, I have a small cottage on the north shore of the lake in a little fishing town called 'Port Dover'. You would be more than welcome to crash out there for a few days. There's a couple of great taverns.

In Portland now, Had some beers with Krolik and Betty rage. Met my first random DMF'er Backmarker out in the middle of i don't know where, fueling up for a ride.
