7 jump chump ey!!  ;D

I have 4 screws in my left ankle from a full combat equipment night jump some years back.

I have also seen massive injuries while skydiving. Even watched a guy burn in one day.

I was spraining knees and ankles often enough on the ground.  Figured once I got my Ranger Tab, it was time to focus on a MOS where I did not need to walk much.

Besides, why jump out of a perfectly good aircraft?!!

Back to Adam...

When are you going to start jumping and posting video of said jumps?
It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

I've still got another six months in Afghanistan, so it's going to be a while.  But as soon as I start jumping again, I'll make sure to post the videos.

Wife surprised me for my BDay back in Feb with my first skydive but I haven't had a chance to redeem it yet. Hoping to get down to Eloy soon though!  Thinking I might just yet it once though to say I did it. Glad to see you're making plans though to have some fun!

FINALLY went to Skydive AZ last weekend.   [thumbsup]  Enjoyed it but one time was definitely enough.

Besides, why jump out of a perfectly good aircraft?!!

Back in college me and my friend decided to celebrate the end of the school year by going sky diving.  We were in the classroom signing waivers and learning the ropes. The door banged open and the pilot started stuttering FF.  Fi Fi FFF.  The instructor pointed at the wall.  The pilot ripped the fire extinguisher off the wall and put out the engine fire on the jump plane.

Point is, they aren't all perfectly good.

Thanks. Definitely a good idea to jump tandem since I was just enjoying the scenery and not paying attention to the altitude and the earth coming up pretty quick!

Seems like you have to do it tandem once..if not t few times..before you can solo.  I'd like to base jump at least once.  Even though it would never happen, the Burj Dubai would be on the list.   [evil]

Not true. You can take an AFF course, although you are making the jump you still will have two JM's with you at first. Doing a tandem jump is "going for a ride."
