Anybody else ride with these? And if so, do yours squeek like a rusty gate when you walk in them? I'm sure it's the armour rubbing on the boot somewhere. Anybody find a solution to the problem?

yeah, they squeak. And it seems the more they break in, the more they squeak. BUT with that being said the fit  and comfort is amazing and they feel like if the shit hits the fan they are going to protect your feet and ankles.

Oh, now, you're just not being creative enough.  Tell them you're chasing mice or something. [cheeky]

Candle wax or white lithium grease.  The lithium grease works best and can be found at most bike shops.

lithium grease is the way to go, takes out the squeak well (To get from where I park my bike I have walk thru from hospital reception and then thru the emergency dept to get to my locker with constant sniggers all the way!) just remember reapplication is a must!! [thumbsup]
......... I like to eat ice cream and I really enjoy a nice pair of slacks. Years later, a doctor will tell me that I have an I.Q. of 48 and I am what some people call mentally retarded.

Imagine this:

Getting to your physics final 10 mins late in full gear with your SMX boots on. SQUEAK like crazy for a full 5 minutes while your take your seat. At this point everybody in the 300 person auditorium is giving you the stink eye.

Yes, that was me. The next day I tried everything I could to get rid of he squeak. I failed miserably...

Lithium grease is messy and visible when applie. The DuPont Dry Lube I use for my chain and boots is invisible and is able to be sprayed into almost anything...
