Not only that the putty is fairly remote, i would be very reluctant to take anything just rebuilt up there with out a thorough testing close to base

Oh yes, probably, possibly, weather permitting. Just had to check dates as I'm pruning pino grape vines the weekend prior. Speaking of which, if anyone has had life long ambition re grape pruning then now is your chance ! Just a short drive down south to the Strathbogies. Back to the topic, looking forward to touching bases again with Claudio. Found his web address so knowing me anything could happen there. !

Matty, once Craigo has confirmed Claudio's tour details and your plans are more concrete ... can you post a bit of route and we'll see if we can meet up somewhere along the way (or way home).

That's great hope yu can make it out.
For me it's up and down the Putty, I love the road even more heading back into Sydney.
If people want to return via the coast it's up to them.
But I guess we'll see what happens in the next week or two.
