I just hope Biaggi's foot heels in time.  Would love to see him & Rossi go at it again like old times.

Last year at World Ducati Week in Misano they had all Ducati riders do a drag race shoot-out on Streetfighters.
Haga won.
Maybe they will do something similar this year..

Brno:  Checa race lap 2:00.328     Rossi race lap 1:57.844
Misano:  Checa race lap 1:36.62   Rossi race lap 1:34.633
Assen:  Checa race lap 1:36.647   Rossi race lap 1:36.700 ( wet/drying track )  In similar conditions, the GP bike comes ahead.

We still have Aragon and Philip Island, although the GP boys race at PI when the weather is usually cold and shitty so its tough to compare those.  I'm guessing the times will be similar due to the large disparity in conditions.

So in response, outside of a few choice tracks and even though the GP bike is complete junk, Checa would have his hands full.  He might out qualify the bike, but he's probably not going to beat it across the line in a race.

you don't think same track same time, qualifying tires, the WSBK Ducati wouldn't beat the MotoGP Ducati?

No.

Besides, quali tires wouldn't last race distance.

Am I missing something or is the race not being broadcast in the US until Tuesday afternoon?
