Hello lads,
I need a new brake line for the front of the M1100 with monoblock calipers on it...calipers came with a 1098 brake hose that is about 3" too short to fit the monster comfortably. The 1098 hose appears to be made of synflex or similar with crimped SS ends and banjos. Any ideas on who will make this to suit or can anyone recommend a OEM hose that is about 3" longer than the 1098?
Standard M1100 hose doesn't seem to be a good fit either. actually looks too long for a bike with clipons.

Appreciated any suggestions.

Thanks

SpieglerUSA.  Very fast and good work.  Don't forget to order the the crushwashers.

You can specify the the length of the line(s) when ordering.
If you buy the lines from them, crush washers will be included. Look at the third photo from the top. You will get pretty much everything you need.

Use coaxial cable, and measure the desired length CAREFULLY, as they don't take returns for custom lines.

where are your clipons mounted? and what rise?

graydo

Thanks guys for your help and advice.

Raux my clip ons are the woodcraft riser style mounted above a Desmoworld top triple clamp, the lowered style. Clip ons are 2.5" rise, standard 1098 line is almost long enough, probably needs to be 2" longer.

yeah you're kinda in between huh.

custom!

For sure Raux..... 1098 hose a tad too short... stock hose a mile too long. What to do?

Ordered a Spiegler.... I am in the middle east so hopefully it wont take forever to get here... lets see.

Thanks for all you help lads.

I might be interested in getting that 1098 line from you

graydo

Sure... give me a couple of weeks to make doubly sure I am done with it.

Cheers
