The brackets on the oil cooler are aluminum, yes?

...I'd be willing to weld it back together if that's what you want to do.   [thumbsup]

Thanks I'll prolly take you up on that.

Hope you get well soon! It was you to see you out of the hospital the same day. Well those fairing will make some good artwork to hang in the garage

On the bright side, sounds like the makings of a streetfighter project.  Less is more  [evil]

Took the words right out of my brain...  [thumbsup] [thumbsup] [thumbsup]

It's such a fine line between stupid and clever.

Since Lisa will be on a restricted workload for a while, Sam and I decided to split up the chores.

Sam: dinner, laundry, dishes
Alan: keep the battery on the Daytona at full charge

It's the least I can do.  And I always do the least I can do.   [cheeky]

Alan

My bet is Alan will be continuing to teach Sam how to cook.  Necessity is the mother.... [laugh]

Most normal people would probably just part out the bike.  However... I think I might try and get it back on the road.  Seems like a decent winter project.  Now all I have to do is the friggin' cast of my wrist and I'll be good to go.

Why don't you part it out, then getcha one of dem newfangled Panny Galleys!!!

Now if every DMFer would send Cher $5....

Cher

just a brief update: i've got an appointment with an orthopedic surgeon this coming tuesday. will find out if surgery is needed for my right hand.  if surgery is not needed, my wrist will be in a cast for 3 weeks. if surgery is needed, i'll be in a cast for two weeks  [roll]

still stiff and a bit dizzy now and then but i'm getting plenty of rest so i'm hoping to be mobil-ish by next week.

Thanks very much for all the get-well-soons.  Y'all are the best  [thumbsup]

Jester

Glad you are ok without major injuries after the tumble Lisa.  Heal up quick and I vote for the streetfighter project.  [thumbsup]
