Just installed a Duc.EE by Vizitech for the 1100 EVO.

If you get a fender eliminator for the 1100 EVO, the underside of your tail will have a weird box sticking down about an inch or so.  The box is necessary because the servo actuator (or valve actuator or whatever mechanics call it) takes up so much space in the tail.  It may not be that big a deal, but if you want your tail section more streamlined, you can install the Duc.EE in place of the servo actuator.  It'll get rid of the clutter and excess weight of the actuator.  From what I've been told, the servo actuator is pretty useless, but I'm no expert on that.  I guess you could just remove the actuator without replacing it with the Duc.EE, but you'll get an check engine light or error code on your tach.

Yup,  Duc.ee is a nice little solution to eliminating the exhaust servo motor's bulk whilst keeping the ECU happy [thumbsup]

The Duc.EE is also sold as a Motocreations part. I think the two companies worked together to develop it, but noticed Vizitech removes the Motocreations logo from the product on their website.

I read on another site that if the cable is disconnected (with the motor connected to the wiring harness) the valve defaults to open and there will be no EXV error reporting.  Mine's laid up now so I can't check that, can anyone confirm the info?
