Could you post a photo of the whole slider, including the expanding sleeve?  Include measurements.  Rear stand spools?  Well, they won't work if you need to remove the wheel so they have limited use.

take them out, take a photo of everythign you received, then send it and an email with your bike info directly to R&G Racing, they are in England so you may have to wait til Tuesday for a reply.

I am pretty certain a pressure fit axle slider cannot safely support the weight of the bike.

will do...yes it definately feels like a thru pin would make me feel more comfortable.  i'm going to do up a thorough email with pics tomorrow as i don't believe the dude at Twisted Throttle provided enough info....all i know is the kit i bought was for Ducati monster 696 2008+....not going to use a stand until i find out directly...thanks guys!!!

I have been using them as rear spools and sliders on my 2010 696 without any issues. I prefer these over the full length rod ones for quick removal. See pics:

if the nut is long enough it will support it. its unusual but with at least 3 or 4cm ofmetal it willbe ok

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

yes, that's it...one of them is stripped though as when i go to tighten it, the metal part thats close to the "plastic" spool spins.  not supposed to be able to pull the metal(gray part) closest to the spool out of the spool.  might try some sort of glue or something.  any ideas on the best stuff to use to?  i have superglue and loctite already.
