Which GoPro did you get and you using the chest mount?

I have the 960.  For that i used the suction cup mount fastened to the top of the tank.  Have also tried the helmet cam which i don't think comes out as well.

Looks great. I have an original Hero and use the chest mount on the downhill mountain bike. The riding position on the Duc doesn't seem to lend itself well to running that mount setup though. I might have to invest in that suction mount. Seems to shoot VERY stable and offer a great vantage point.

Looks great!  I haven't tried the suction cup mount on the tank yet.   I got the handlebar/seatpost mount and have used it on the center portion of the handlebar.  Unfortunately you need to use several extensions to get it above the gauge cluster and it can be shakey if it isn't super tight.

Is that the mirror stalk on the left?  The wide angle lens makes the proportions look weird.

very cool video.  I have the same set up with the 960 and suction cup.  I have used the suction cup on the top and sde of tank, as well as the rear cowl, with no problem at all.  Surprised at how well made th thing is.  Just being paranoyed, I tie the suction cup to something solid, just in case it fails.  So far it hasn't.

Nice video!

The suction cup mount on the drive sprocket cover can get some really good footage as well.  The frame makes a great tie off point and of all the places I have mounted the suction cup, it has the least vibration.

Thanks for the tips guys, will defiantly try the frame mount next time.  I have used the suction cup on the outside of a twin turbine powered airplane at 150+mph with no issues.  Very well made that GoPro!
