Seen similar electric bikes doing laps at the Isle of Man for the past couple years, getting faster and better battery range over time.

Only a matter of time before we see a Duc electric prototype?

I rather like my exhaust noise thank you.  ;D

And at only 100 miles between charging I foresee this being just a grocery getter until the MPCharge is upped or there are charging stations at every gas station.

The guy I bought the holder for my lithium battery cells on the duc had an electrified R1.  Really awesome looking machine - very cool.

50% of my interest in my bike goes to it's exhaust noise.

That bike is an abomination on so many levels. [bang]
Blatantly copied trellis frame a thinly veiled attempt at gaining credability from a known brand.
make the beast with two backs ugly bobber tail.
make the beast with two backs ugly lectric mota
Looks like it is suffering from fluid retention.
Stooge in a pudding bowl helmet and vintage copy goggles oh please another thinly veiled attempt at creating interest from the baby boomer cafe racer yawn/overdone look at me crowd.
I am amazed they didn't somehow get some exhaust wrap somehow on there  [laugh]

Then there is always the refuelling aspect.

I thought this photo was funny. It appeared in AMCN a few editions back.

BTW I am also very fond of my bikes sound.

even if it's plugged into the wall at home it's charged by coal fired electricity anyway! sure, there's "green" energy but i think i read somewhere that overall it's less than 2% nationally.

same tree hugging hippie crap with a prius, didn't someone (top gear maybe?) prove that the pollution created by getting all the required parts to the assembly line from around the world was more than was created by a 70's muscle car per prius produced??

all govt. driven propaganda to keep the minorities happy....

hydrogen, that's the future for cars, already up and running successfully in cali.
