Hi guys,

Im in Townsville QLD.
I just found these forums last night.
Im the new owner of a 2001 Monster 659.
People tell me its an expensive first bike, but i wanted something i could mod and keep after i get my full licence.

I've already added a tidy tail and a few bits of carbon.
I have a gear indicator to go on this weekend and some HID lights.
I also picked up a nice little belly pan for her.

Also got my comfort seat today from John in Noosa Ducati, Man this is a great mod, together with a 38mm riser.
Looks like a great forum with heaps of info.

      Sounds like a great little Duc, and some tasty mods already.

Thanks guys, i did some more mods today. Cant help myself.
Put the LED blinkers on, HID headlight conversion, a Gear indicator and some more carbon.
I need to work out how to put pics up.
Is Photobucket the best way?

Sounds like you're already on the slippery slope of mods.
Yep photo bucket or flickr or anything similar will work.
You host them there and link to your photos.

Yes Matty that slope is very steep.

After tax i am looking at getting a set of Rossi Plastics.
As you see by the number plate i am quite a fan.

Nice work!
I'd be a bit worried about how close those indicators are to your tail light
ADR sets them at a certain distance hence integrated tail lights are illegal.
I know the QLD  do like to pick on motorcyclists and all.

Matty , hopefully they wont be so close once i get my Termi's.
The  sit pretty close on the stock setup.
We have heaps of Cops come into work and they have said nothing about it, or the HID lights.

Dee i brought it off Ebay, some guy in Italy.
It says on the tank of the Bike Barracuda.
