Im doing some basic upgrades to my 1100S this week and I just picked up a real hot item. I didn't intend on swapping my stock bars at first. last week I did the evap can delete, I installed some Arrow race headers (first ceramic coated then wrapped), also installed Fresco CF cans and a MWR intake. The last thing is to reinstall my re-mapped ECU.

Then, the other day I came across a set of rediculously cool bars. My freind has had some on his M1100 for a little while and
i had the chance to try them out. The bars are carbon fiber with a material inside that eliminates high freaquency vibration. They're lighter than the stock bar and unbelievably comfortable (results in less rider fatigue) all while retaining responsiveness and stability. These cost $449.00.

Here are a couple shots of the bars on my bike. These bars are brand new for the company and an exact match for the stock Duc bar. I flipped mine over for fun. The only distributer for these is Full Spectrum Power.com (as in the light weight race battery manufacter gurus [thumbsup])

Fresco-sound rad by the way!

I will post a follow up once I get the ECU back in friday and get a couple miles on her. I am FIRED UP! [clap]

In the stock torture configuration...

How much of the weight saving are we talking about here? $450 is insane for a handle bar man.

I have them already, one more thing to do..... the weight savings is the last thing I care about really. It is a monster after all. The special thing about the bars is the vibration reduction. Most importantly to me is the fact that the bar feals solid and there is no spongy feal. I am hoping to take the rubber bushings out of the riser mount and replace them with somthing stiff. I hate the way the bushings feal. This scoot has less than 7000 miles on it and I really love it but the sorts of upgrades like bars, Woodcraft rear set, and the like make a big difference. I do agree the price is a pain in the ass but hell, we all bought Ducatis not Harleys. I love my Duc my HD just sits mainly because its become more comfy to cruise on the Duc.  ;D
