To sidecar or not to sidecar...

In response to your original questions, riding with a sidecar is very different, but can be quite rewarding.  Grocery shopping is certainly one advantage.  I found, though, that young ladies were much more likely to ask for a ride in the sidecar than on the back of the bike.  That alone makes it worthwhile.  Your mileage may vary...

I wish I still had my sidecar rig.  Not because I want to give young ladies a ride (get your mind out of the gutter), but because it's fun!

So I totally just got rid of the 999 in exchange for the gobi gear up Ural. Still think I need to get me a 620 or some other monster for when I want to hit the twisties with speed. But that will have to wait.

If you love your bike, set it free.
If it comes back to you, you've
probably high-sided.
