Let's be fair, Harley has been getting happy endings from the AMA for nearly half a century.

All AMA/DMG (ever) wants is to get fans in the seats, viewers in front of the telly, and bikes rolling out the showroom door...most casual (probably nearly all) TV viewers probably think homologation has something to do with gay/lesbian lifestyles and just want the 'Merican bike to win.
